Bjørn Simonsen
Bjørn Simonsen is the CEO of World Wide Wind and joined the team in 2023.
Before joining the wind industry, Bjørn led the listed investment company Saga Pure ASA from 2020 - 2023. Previously, Bjørn spent 6 years in Nel ASA from the public listing in 2014, helping bringing the company to the center of the international hydrogen scene. He also led the Norwegian hydrogen association for several years and has worked as a hydrogen research engineer at the Institute of Energy Technology (IFE).
Bjørn holds a Master of Science degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from NTNU, the Norwegian Technical University.
