Knut Aanstad has been a member of the World Wide Wind Advisory Board since 2023.

Knut is former Vice President for Offshore Wind in Equinor, driving business development of Equinor’s offshore wind projects in Europe and the US. Knut has also been a Special Advisor on UN Secretary General's High-Level Group on Sustainable Energy For All.

Knut holds a Cand. Real (PhD equivalent) degree from the University of Oslo.
