Trond has held positions such as VP & Managing Executive for Chevron Technology Ventures in San Ramon, California, Country Manager for Chevron Norway, Country Manager for Chevron Denmark and Vice President in Equinor.

Trond is a frequent speaker in industry events and has published 10+ technical papers within energy management and business development.

Trond Unneland holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from NTNU, the Norwegian Technical University.
